MONDAY – READING STAAR TEST
Tuesday – Friday we will be working on STAAR Math prep by spiraling back and reviewing all skills taught this year. STAAR math is on May 3rd. Students will be able to create a brain dump from memory to use on the day of the test. Encourage them to continue to study it!
Week of 4-17 to 4-21
We will finish the last of financial literacy on Monday and Tuesday. We will then be starting the year-end review for the STAAR test (May 3rd). Students will take the FINAL BRAIN DUMP TEST on Friday, April 21st.

This week we will cover data and statistics. Students will also have a brain dump quiz on Friday over the ENTIRE BRAIN DUMP.

Students will need to recall from memory brain dump squares 1-6. A copy of this can be found in GC.
My class has been invited to prevent for Global Student Showcase at the Digital Citizenship Summit on April 4th. This will be a 30-minute online event (ZOOM) where students will present using good digital citizenship while using AI. Students were able to pick partner pairs and have been assigned a slide in Canva to create for the presentation. They are able to come to my room at 7:30 on Tuesday-Thursday next week to work on the presentation. They will also do a practice round on April 3rd before they present. If you do not want your child to participate please email me ASAP.
ALSO..If your child is in 8th-period study hall, I will have them start reporting to Ms. Broussard’s 8th-period class starting April 3rd. This will be an opportunity to spiral and review all the TEKS taught this year. Being in an advanced class we covered ALOT of skills at a fast pace. The class will be designed to review and practice the skills. Please email me if you have any questions. Students who are in the TMSCA class that period will also be doing the review.
