Wednesday – finish 9 weeks test
Thursday – correct 9 weeks test
Friday – finish corrections on 9 weeks test and IXL recommendations
Students have a brain dump “cheat sheet” they can make on the day of the test for 5 bonus points.
Monday – writing 2 step equations
Tuesday – puzzle train on 2-step equations
Wednesday – solve and color 2-step equations
Thursday – expressions and 2 step equations
Friday – Quiz on expressions and equations
Students have a BRAIN DUMP they are to memorize for the 9 weeks test. It is worth bonus points on the test!!!!

My door is open at 7:30 each morning for help. Students have the opportunity to place in the top 3 IXL leaderboard to change their lowest daily grade to 100. Lessons to practice in IXL are found in Google Classroom.
9/12/22 – test review – what is not finished in class is homework – 5 bonus points for a parent’s signature
9/13/22 – I will go over the test review with them in class
9/14/22 – Unit 1 Test – Students can make a “brain dump – cheat sheet” from memory to use – valued at 5 bonus points
9/15/22 – simplify expressions
9/16/22 – 1-step equations
Students have daily assignments in Google Classroom to reinforce skills taught in class. If your student is absent, they are to complete the GC assignment for that day so they do not fall behind. My door is open at 7:30 every morning for students.
I am posting a daily assignment in google classroom that is an extension of the day’s lesson. Students can access this at any time and use it for extra practice and review. This is also the assignment students will need to complete if not at school. The assignment has a built-in tutorial so that they can do it without instruction. Please have your child complete if they are absent. This will prevent them from falling behind in class. My classroom is also open to any student at 7:30 each morning for help with homework, clarification of a skill, or make-up work.
